A big Aussie G'day to friends old and new!
I'm a Australian woman who was lucky enough to grow up surrounded by both grandparents, great Aunts and Uncles and the usual family members!
They shared their love of cooking with me and now I hope to share my multi-generational recipes with you.
With the economy in the toilet I think it is time we got back to doing things the way our previous generations did. These were the people that survived through two World Wars, who struggled through the Great Depression, all the while raising a family, dealing with unemployment etc and they didn't have all the labour saving devices we have.
My greatest hope is that you'll have fun in your kitchens with these recipes and that you'll share them with your friends, family, work colleagues etc.
I don't believe in keeping Grandma's recipes a secret, she was a generous lady and would have loved seeing them shared.
